Lynda Deakin, a Partner at IDEO, brings eighteen years of experience working with a broad range of food and beverage clients to her work. She is the Managing Director of IDEO’s Food Studio, helping companies solve their toughest problems and identify opportunities for growth.
The Food Studio’s empathic approach enables clients to address people’s unmet desires and empowers them to tackle a wide variety of design and innovation challenges—from designing the next $100M product to creating strategic development platforms.
Lynda has collaborated with clients that range from larger food companies such as ConAgra, Whitewave Foods and The Hershey Company to smaller start-ups and agents of change that are trying to reshape the future of food. She believes that design is a tool that can help us build a more sustainable food system while also changing consumers’ behaviors for the better.
Global Chief Creative Director Serviceplan
Alex Schill was born with a Canadian passport and studied at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin. In 1994 he started his career at Germany’s former hotshop agency No.1 Springer & Jacoby as junior copywriter and was asked in 2003 to lead the agency as Chief Creative Officer. In 2006, Alex left Springer & Jacoby to become Associate Partner and Member of the Board at the Serviceplan Group. Since 2008 he is Chief Creative Officer of the entire agency group worldwide and presently in charge of offices in more than 30 locations.
In just five years Alex Schill brought Serviceplan to the front row in national and international creative rankings. In recent years Alex has won more than 55 Cannes Lions, including two Grands Prix in 2012 and 2013 and an Innovation Lion in 2016.

Born in New York City but raised in Africa & Europe, Kwame's acute sensitivity to the creative potential of storytelling and technology have fueled his career in emerging media.
As Managing Director at Chobani, a New York based food focussed wellness brand. There Kwame is responsible for architecting, along with the CMO and CCO, a cutting edge marketing discipline that grows the brand and generates demand through digital innovation, creative partnerships and experiential.
Prior to joining Chobani in 2016, Kwame was a partner at Sid Lee, where he led clients on production, experiential and technology.
His favorite projects at Sid Lee included Intel Heartbot; an innovative data visualization robot, Tiffany T Trian; an immersive audio visual installation, and Stella Artois Le Savoir; a global culinary experiential platform launched in New York, Buenos Aries and Montreal which included a Music Video You Can Taste featuring the Roots.
Prior to Sid Lee, Kwame led integrated production for Anomaly and Saatchi & Saatchi in New York. He also worked at Media Arts Lab on global campaigns for Apple. Notable projects include Apple’s Mac vs. PC; selected as Adweek Campaign of the Decade, and Uniqlo Recipe; selected as one of the Best Apps of 2013 by the Apple App Store.
Kwame's work with clients including Apple, Nike, Uniqlo, Stella Artois, Budweiser, Captain Morgan, General Mills, and JCPenney has been recognized by leading industry organizations Cannes, D&AD, and the One Show, as well as the Webby, CLIO, EFFIE, RACie, Creativity, and Favourite Website Awards.

setting the company’s creative vision. Mark was recently appointed Creative Chairman of
Publicis Communications to lead the group’s unrivaled creative firepower.

Advertising Age’s 2015 Awards Report. The network has also topped the Gunn Report’s “All
Gunns Blazing” category for seven of the past eight years, leading the industry in new-world

including six Grand Prix, three Titanium Lions, two Glass Lions, the first ever D&AD White
Pencil, and a Black Pencil during his tenure as CCO. He has had the honour of chairing the
world’s greatest award shows, and is one of the only creative directors in the world to serve as
a Cannes Lions Jury President three times. He sits on the Facebook Creative Council and is a
member of the Royal Society of Arts.
