Lisa is CEO of Ethex, the not-for-profit, positive investment online platform that makes positive investing easy to understand and easy to do. Ethex helps social impact businesses access the finance they need to grow and has so far raised over £12m from investors seeking a home for their money which aligns with their personal values.
Lisa is also Chair of Goring and Streatley Community Energy who are developing a hydroelectric scheme on the river Thames. She first got involved with community energy in Zambia researching the feasibility of local ESCOs for rural electrification from PV’s as part of a research project with the Zambian Government and Stockholm Environmental Institute.
Lisa has over 15 years’ experience in energy and environmental markets. Following an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College specialising in Energy Policy, Lisa worked for a financial exchange and clearing-house, now part of NasdaqOMX, analysing the deregulation of the UK energy markets. She was instrumental in setting up the most advanced market in the world for trading electricity at OMX and went on to hold senior positions with the UK Power Exchange and Amsterdam Power Exchange.
More recently Lisa worked for EcoSecurities, one of the largest carbon project developers in the world as Head of Commercialisation, Europe. EcoSecurities provides carbon finance to renewable energy and energy efficiency projects across the world as part of the UN-approved Clean Development Mechanism.
As well as her MSc from Imperial College, Lisa has a BSc in Environmental Geology from RHBNC (University of London) and a Postgraduate diploma (Dip) in Financial Strategy from Said Business School, University of Oxford.

Russ Rubino joined Nasdaq as Vice President of Marketing in early 2013 where he is responsible for leading all global marketing and brand efforts, reporting directly to the CMO. Prior to Nasdaq, Russ was at TIAA-CREF, where he led the development and execution of all digital marketing and web efforts for the firm’s Asset Management division. Prior to that, he was SVP of Marketing and Digital Strategy at MF Global, where he managed all marketing efforts globally for lines of business, building brand awareness and driving lead generation. Russ has over 25 years of experience in marketing across all media, from strategy development to execution and analysis.
Shivani Siroya is the founder and CEO of InVenture, a mobile technology and data science company that aims to close the credit gap in emerging markets by using mobile data to overcome traditional barriers to financial access. Through its financial platform, InVenture collects thousands of data points per customer to build a real-time credit score, determine loan terms, and disburse loans in less than a minute. InVenture has disbursed millions of dollars in credit throughout East Africa and is rapidly expanding throughout Africa and Asia. InVenture was recognized by FastCompany as the #1 most innovative company in Money in 2015 and the #8 most innovative company in finance in 2016.
Shivani has a wide array of professional experiences in global health, microfinance, and investment banking. Prior to InVenture she worked at the United Nations Population Fund, helping to develop costing models throughout Africa and Asia. She also has experience in investment banking both in mergers & acquisitions at Health Net, Citigroup and Equity Research at UBS. In 2016, Siroya was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Shivani is a 2015 Senior TED Fellow, 2013 Ashoka Fellow, 2011 Echoing Green Fellow, and 2011 Unreasonable Fellow. Shivani is also on the board of Stellar, a technology company that’s enabling a public infrastructure for money. Shivani holds a M.P.H from Columbia University and a B.A. from Wesleyan University.
